A new Unofficial Mods database has just been released!

The new site will allow members to upload their ships/mods via FTP and then link to them in the program for all to see and download. All you need is a screenshot and a zip containing the mod files and you are ready to go. Install instructions are entered into the program as you create the new mod so people can easily use them. You also keep full control over the mod so you can erase/modily it ata ny time.

We have just secured the fantastic Kenwebbs Shipyards who will be uploading his ships to the site shortly! Are you next?

Thanks, nice mods.

But I'd love to see the ships section divided into 'blanks' and fully configured.

Stardock also hosts a file repository called the Library, you can find it in the Metaverse. Lots of downloads there.

Yeah, unfortunately it doesn't work. I just tried a couple of different times to upload my new Firefly-class Starship design to it and no matter if I use IE or Firefox it gives me a string-handler error of some kind. Lame. So thankfully there's this alternate site...I'm going to check it out now.

Hello! I recently bought this game and it totaly rocks one of the best 4x games out there. but there is one thing missing. Planet killing weapons! i mean like the the death start or something. so if someone could make a mod that had one of these ships or weapons, please tell me!

My Apologies To Those Of You Who Have Submitted Mods To Be Added To The Unofficial Mods Site. I Have Been Having A Few Problems With The FTP Upload Server And The Guys Who Own The Servers Have This Rectified Now For Me. The Mods You Submitted Will Be Loaded Later Today.

Darth G... after adding the custom aliens icons... the Ai sometimes chooses them, but they don't appear..... on the map... know anything abou tit?
